I'm not sure that this is blog worthy but... as I reached for these things today I was quickly whisked away to fond memories as a little girl. This was, and I guess still is, my favorite snack. My Nonie would give me a choice when I got home from gymnastics...BREAD AND BUTTER or LITTLE DEBBIE CAKES. Most of the time it was hands down bread and butter. I suppose I will always be a southern girl at heart.

do you ever sprinkle sugar over the butter? My kids had this at my moms house all the time, and for years their favorite breakfast was bread-butter-sugar.
Now it is a every now and again treat. I can't wait, well, someday about 4 years from now???, for grandbabies to share this with.

What's the CINDY! comment supposed to be? No, never sugar but cinnamon-sugar was always a fav too. Yes, grandbabies will be fun. I look at Story Love all the time though and can't believe she is mine.
